Our Team
Adam Smith and Justin Tennant are the founders of Raycycle. They came together to create a business that provides homeowners and businesses with sustainable energy solutions. Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, they look to take the solar energy market to a new level.
Adam Smith Chief Executive Officer
Adam Smith is Raycycle’s CEO. A Combat Army Veteran with a Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University, Adam has over 18 years of risk management and insurance expertise. Outside of the office, Adam is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his wife, their children, and his dog. Adam is also a proud community member, formerly serving as the board chair of Three Rivers Youth.
Justin Tennant Chief Operating Officer
Justin Tennant is Raycycle’s COO. A successful entrepreneur several times over, Justin holds multiple degrees in Business Management, Finance, and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and Fairmount State. Growing up in a small steel town in West Virginia, Justin witnessed the importance of clean, renewable energy and environmental friendliness. At home, Justin is a happily married father of four with two dogs. His other interests include running and biking outdoors, fitness, and travel.
